Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. strawberries
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry gelatin
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Mix water, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Cook until thick; remove from heat, add gelatin and cool.
Place sliced strawberries in baked pie shell.
Pour cooled mixture over strawberries.
Place 4 tablespoons strawberries on top.
Serve with Cool Whip.
