Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 sticks butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream together the Crisco, butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour and salt, alternating with milk.
Add vanilla and lemon extracts; beat well.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Do not open oven door during baking time.
