Saucy Peas And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can milk
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. dry instant rice
Preparation
    Cook and stir mushrooms in hot margarine in a saucepan until lightly browned.
    Add peas, soup, milk and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 minutes.
    Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork. Makes 6 servings.
