Hearty Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. fresh spinach, torn in bite size pieces
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. cooked bacon, crumbled
4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1 small head iceberg lettuce
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
10 oz. pkg. frozen, thawed, uncooked peas
1 sweet red onion, sliced
2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
Preparation

Arrange first 10 ingredients in large salad bowl in order listed.
Spread mayonnaise on top of the salad.
Top with Swiss cheese.
Cover bowl and refrigerate 24 hours.
Toss and serve.
It will look limp; it's supposed to.
Serves 6 as main course or 12 as salad.
