Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

2 lb. pkg. Southern style hash browns
2 c. grated sharp cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Spread frozen potatoes in a buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
Add onion (frozen works well) and mix.
Sprinkle cheese over potatoes. In separate bowl, mix chicken soup, sour cream and milk.
Spread over entire casserole.
Sprinkle corn flake crumbs over mixture, then drizzle melted butter over corn flakes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, uncovered.
Goes very well with baked ham.
