Corn Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. minced chives
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients well. Heat a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil. When hot, drop by heaping tablespoons and cook until bottoms are golden, about 1 minute. Turn cakes over and brown the other side. Repeat using all the batter. Makes 4 servings.
