Bacon And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 (4 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    bacon fat
Preparation
    In bacon fat, saute onion 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain.
    In a pot with sauteed onion, add potatoes and water; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
    Stir in soup, sour cream and crumbled bacon.
    Add milk, salt, pepper and parsley.
    Heat to serving temperature.
    Do not boil.
