Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mincemeat
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. candied fruit
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. boiling water
Preparation
    Combine mincemeat, nuts and fruit.
    Sift together the flour, sugar and salt; add to fruit mixture.
    Dissolve soda in boiling water and stir into the batter.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Bake in a slow oven (275\u00b0) for about 2 1/2 hours.
    Two loaves of bread will be made with this recipe.
