Ten Layer Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
3 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
6 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs and shortening together.
Add sugar, alternately adding flour and milk.
Add vanilla.
Grease as many cake pans as you have.
Place about 2 big dipping spoonfuls of batter in each pan and cook at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until done.
Layer will be thin.
Make icing ahead and stack and ice as the layers come from the oven.
Re-grease pans each time you use.
