Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. salad oil or margarine
3/4 c. onion, chopped
7 c. water
1 Tbsp. chicken base
5 oz. egg noodles (fine)
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. chopped broccoli
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
6 1/2 c. milk
3/4 lb. Old English cheese, cubed
Preparation
-
Saute onions in margarine.
Add water and chicken base.
Heat to boiling.
Stir in noodles and salt.
Add broccoli, garlic powder, milk and cubed cheese.
Cook on low heat until cheese is melted.
Makes 1 gallon.
