Etowah Winter Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh spinach or other leaf lettuce, washed and trimmed
    1/2 small red onion, sliced
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin orange slices, drained
    1/2 c. chopped sugared dates
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    1/3 c. oil
    3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix dressing ingredients in a jar.
    Shake well.
    Toss with salad ingredients just before serving.
