Best Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. catsup
2 1/4 c. water
2 tsp. instant beef broth
1 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix all of the above ingredients in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cover; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
(If not using immediately, cool somewhat, transfer to a container with cover and refrigerate.)
Use as a barbecue sauce for chicken or ribs.
Makes about 1 quart.
