Gooies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 egg
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix
    1 lb. 4x sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Mix butter, 1 egg, nuts and cake mix, then pat out in 9 x 12-inch Pyrex.
    Stir cream cheese, then add sugar and 2 eggs alternately, beginning and ending with sugar.
    Pour over first mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
