Louisiana Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup pancake mix
1 onion, chopped
milk or half and half

Preparation

Mix first four ingredients.
Add enough milk to make mixture the consistency of whipped cream.
Drop full teaspoons into hot grease.
Serves 6-8.
