Festive Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black-eyed peas
    1 small ham hock
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1 medium size jar pimiento
Preparation
    Cook ham hock until tender.
    Wash peas and cook until nearly done and then boil on low.
    Add green pepper, onion and pimiento. Cook until vegetables are done.
