Filling For Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can peaches (1 lb. 13 oz.)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Beat peaches, syrup and all in a bowl with electric mixer until peaches are mashed.
    Put in pot with cornstarch.
    Beat well and cook until thickened, about 15 minutes, stirring often.
    Let cool and put between cake layers.
    Excellent with \"2 Egg Cake\" recipe.
