Salsiccia Con Vino Rosso(Sausage With Burgundy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage
2 c. Burgundy wine
Preparation

Cut sausage in 4-inch long pieces.
Place in pan and cover with water.
Cover with lid and boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
Prick sausage with fork to allow fat to escape. Cook with lid off for 15 to 20 minutes, until all water has evaporated and sausage is brown.
Gradually add Burgundy, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Serves 5 to 7.
