English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 small plain Hershey bars
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Layer a 9 x 13-inch pan with foil.
Butter it well.
Melt 6 Hershey bars on foil in pan; spread and refrigerate.
Cook butter and sugar together, stirring constantly until golden tan and crack stage (300\u00b0).
Pour over chocolate while still very hot.
Break up remaining 6 Hershey bars and spread over top.
Sprinkle with nuts and refrigerate.
