Cheesy Chivey Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes, cooked and cooled
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
Preparation
    Butter a 2-quart casserole.
    Grate potatoes or cut in chunks. In a pan over low heat, combine butter and cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
    Remove from heat and stir in salt, pepper, sour cream and onions.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Stir lightly and turn into prepared casserole.
    Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
