Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. fresh peeled and sliced apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. soda
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation

Mix the apples, sugar and nuts in large mixing bowl; let stand for an hour.
Stir often so that the mixture makes its own juice. Combine dry ingredients and add to apples.
Add oil, vanilla and eggs.
Do not use a mixer.
Stir ingredients together by hand. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
