Manhattan Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. tart apples, diced
    1/2 c. celery, diced
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups hot water. Add vinegar and salt. Pour thin layer in mold; chill until firm. Combine apples and celery; place in mold. Add remaining gelatin.
    Chill until firm. Unmold on crisp lettuce.
    Yields 8 servings.
