Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    2 c. pecans (use 1 c.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients in large pan, stirring constantly 5 minutes.
    Add pecans and butter and cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat.
    Cool a few minutes.
    Beat until loses gloss. Pour onto waxed paper rapidly.
