Turnips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh pork or your choice
1 bunch turnips, washed and cut up
1/2 c. lard
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Let meat boil until tender.
Add turnips to this meat and broth.
After turnips have boiled and gone down, put lard and remaining seasonings in.
If needed, may add bacon grease to taste.
