Dutch Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Mix flour with baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
    Add vanilla and mix.
    Pour into a well-greased tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 hour.
    Frost cooled cake or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Also delicious just plain.
