Chocolate Mint Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. Hershey cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. milk
    12 to 14 small peppermint patties
Preparation
    In a large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla, blending well.
    In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Add to butter mixture alternately with milk; blend well.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
    Mold dough over patties and cover completely.
    Place on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool for 1 minute on cookie tray, then remove to wire rack.
    Cool completely.
