English Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Blend the ingredients together in the order they are listed. Put in an ungreased jello roll pan and spread around evenly with your hands.
    Break up egg white with a fork and spread over the dough with your hands.
    Sprinkle more chopped nuts over the top. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cut while hot.
