Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 green pepper
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 broken bay leaf
    salt to taste
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 can chili beans
    1 can tomatoes
    generous pinch of celery salt
    1/2 tsp. comino seed
    small pinch of basil
    1 heaping Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Chop the onion and garlic and brown in olive oil.
    Add hamburger and cook slowly until browned.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except the beans, and simmer for 1/2 hour.
    Add the chili beans and let cook.
