Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    onion (if desired)
    cauliflower
    1 can peas, drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 tsp. sugar
    Parmesan cheese
    3 to 4 slices bacon, cooked, or bacon bits
Preparation
    Chop lettuce (enough to cover a 9 x 11-inch casserole dish). Chop onion; may be omitted or use as much as you like.
    Layer on top of lettuce.
    Chop cauliflower, put on top of onion.
    Drain can of peas.
    Spread on cauliflower.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar. Spread on peas.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Cook bacon or use bacon bits and spread on top.
    Cover and refrigerate before serving.
