Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) box cherry jello
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1 c. Coke
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine pie filling, water and sugar.
    Cook until it boils. Add jello; stir until dissolved.
    Add remaining ingredients. Stir, then let stand until cool.
    Chill in refrigerator.
