Grandma Quenqua'S Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) Sacramento tomato juice
    1 medium head cabbage (2 to 2 1/2 lb.)
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 c. water
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation
    Coarsely shred cabbage.
    In 4-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients.
    Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes until cabbage is tender.
    Serve with hot crispy bread.
