Eggless, Milkless, Butterless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Boil together sugar, water, Crisco, raisins, nutmeg and cinnamon. Let cool, then add flour, soda, salt and powder (also nuts if you are using). Bake in square pan or bread pan 35 minutes.
