Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs
    3 c. fresh grated apples
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. soda or less
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar; add Wesson oil.
    Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately grated apples to sugar mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Dredge nuts in some of the flour (if you want any in cake).
    Bake in tube pan at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.
