Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Beat eggs lightly; blend in sugar, scalded milk, salt and vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 25 or 30 minutes, or until knife tests done.
Sprinkle with nutmeg to taste.
