Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted salted peanuts*
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in 2-quart microwave dish.
    Cook 4 minutes on High.
    Stir in nuts.
    Cook 4 to 5 minutes on High until light brown.
    Add butter and vanilla, cook 1 to 2 minutes on High. Add soda, stir gently until foamy.
    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Cool; break in pieces.
