Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. lemon peel
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. coarsely grated apple
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in 2 eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Add alternately with apple, lemon peel and nuts.
    Batter is stiff. Bake in buttered and floured loaf pan in 350\u00b0 oven 50 to 60 minutes.
