Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. oatmeal
2 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp salt
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 yeast cake
1/2 c. warm water
4 to 5 c. flour
1 small pkg rapid rising yeast or 1 c. yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
2 c. lukewarm milk
Preparation

Mix butter and milk together.
Add 2 c. flour to yeast mixture, then add butter and milk to mixture.
Let the mixture rise.
