Old Fashion Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sweet milk
3 2/3 c. cake flour or plain flour
1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add oil.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each additional one.
Add lemon juice, rind and salt.
Add milk and flour alternately, ending with flour.
Pour into greased tube pan with bottom lined with greased wax
paper. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
