Friendship Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1/2 c. dry split peas
    1/3 c. beef bouillon crystals
    1/4 c. pearl barley
    1/4 c. dry lentils
    1/4 c. dried minced onions
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/2 c. macaroni
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 qt. water
    1 (28 oz.) diced tomatoes (undrained)
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef; drain. Add water, tomatoes and rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add pasta; cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until pasta is tender.
