Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 can cream soup (chicken, mushroom or celery)
    1/4 c. diced pimento
Preparation
    Cook celery pieces in boiling water until slightly tender. Drain thoroughly.
    Pour into mixing bowl.
    Mix with remaining ingredients.
    Pour into buttered 1-quart casserole dish.
    Top with 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs, 1/4 cup slivered almonds tossed in 2 tablespoons melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
