Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 bag chocolate candy kisses

Preparation

Sift together first 3 ingredients.
Cream butter and peanut butter together.
Gradually add sugar and mix well.
Add unbeaten egg and vanilla.
Blend in dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly.
Shape into balls, using a round teaspoon for each. Roll in sugar and place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and press kiss firmly into cookies. Bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
