Sweet Tater Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine sweet potatoes, butter, egg yolks, 1 cup of sugar, salt and spice.
Mix well.
Add milk, blending well.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff.
Fold egg whites into potato mixture.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. When cool, serve with whipped cream, if desired.
