9 Layer Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 chopped hard-boiled eggs
    6 pieces crispy fried bacon, cut up small
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Tear up 1 large head of lettuce into bite size pieces and lay into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle the following on top: peas, celery, green pepper, onion, eggs and bacon pieces.
    Combine sugar and Miracle Whip.
    Frost top of layered salad with this.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
    Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours before serving.
