Garlic Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    2/3 c. whipping cream
    4 crushed garlic cloves
Preparation
    Combine potatoes with water to cover.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes.
    Drain and let stand until cool.
