Chicken Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 small cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cream cheese
    1 1/4 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese, divided
    4 c. cooked fettucini (cooked without salt)
    1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley, optional
    2 c. chicken, cooked
Preparation
    Saute garlic in margarine, then stir in flour.
    Gradually add milk, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
    Cook mixture 8 minutes or until thick.
    Stir in cream cheese and cook 2 more minutes.
    Add 1 cup parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
    Cook fettucini according to package directions; add chicken.
    Pour the hot cheese sauce over the hot fettucini and chicken.
    Toss well to coat.
    Top mixture with the remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and sprinkle on some black pepper.
