Chinese Beef And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. rice
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. salt
    2 bouillon cubes
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 green peppers, chopped
    3 c. boiling water
    4 tsp. soy sauce
    3 c. diced, cooked beef or pork
Preparation
    Cook rice in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown.
    Add salt, water, bouillon cubes and soy sauce.
    Cover; simmer 20 minutes.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Cover tightly and simmer 10 minutes more.
    It may be necessary to add a little more water. All water should be absorbed at end of cooking time.
    If not, remove cover and allow liquid to evaporate.
