Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    In a 3-quart casserole dish, combine sugar, syrup, water and salt.
    Cook on High for 5 minutes; stir.
    Cook on High for 8 to 10 minutes, or until a hard ball forms in water.
    Beat egg whites to stiff peaks; pour over syrup mixture.
    Add nuts and vanilla; fold in.
    Spoon onto wax paper; let dry.
