Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c.sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. jam (blackberry)
    1 c. preserves
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix well and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes 3 layers.
