Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (Shoe Peg) white grain corn
    1 small can petite sweet peas
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, chopped
    1 can French-cut green beans
    1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 medium purple onion, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar or Sweet 'N Low
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain liquid from vegetables.
    Combine last four ingredients in pan.
    Bring to boil.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Let marinate, covered, 24 hours in refrigerator.
