Apple Cake - cooking recipe

2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. melted margarine
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Measure 1 3/4 cups apples into a big bowl; add sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
Sift flour; add next 5 ingredients.
Blend butter and egg into apple mixture.
Add flour and stir just until blended.
Fold in raisins and nuts.
Pour into a greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
