Crock-Pot Smothered Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. beef broth
    1 medium onion, sliced
Preparation
    Dredge meat in flour, salt and pepper.
    Layer meat (floured), mushrooms and onion in crock-pot. Pour broth over all. Can add carrots and peeled potatoes on top, if desired. Cook in crock-pot on high 4 hours or slow (low) 8 to 10 hours.
